NCQA Accreditation
Freedom Health received a 3 Year Accreditation(2007 - 2009) status from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to reviewing and improving health care quality.  Organizations accredited by NCQA must pass a rigorous, comprehensive review of more than 60 standards and must report on their performance in more than 40 areas.  Accreditation is generally  a reliable indicator that an organization is well-managed and delivers high quality care and service.

In 2009, Freedom Health completed the NCQA-Certified HEDIS ^® Compliance Audit™ and received the 2009 HEDIS Compliance Audit Seal for successfully achieving quality improvement and a higher level of integrity.

Senior Gold Choice Award 4 Years Running! Freedom Health, a Florida Health Insurance plan, has been nationally recognized for its overall value in the design of its medical and Part D prescription drug benefits!  The Senior Gold Choice Award is based on estimated cost sharing comparison conducted in over 120 cities by HealthMetrix Research Inc, an independent research company that annually compares the real costs of Medicare health insurance plans to consumers.  The study identifies the Medicare Plans with the lowest and highest annual out-of-pocket costs based on approved  member copayments, deductibles and premiums that appear in the Medicare Options Compare database. Freedom was ranked 7th fastest growing private company in America by Inc. 500 Magazine in August 2009
