Why Medicare Advantage?
Original Medicare pays for many health care services and supplies, but it often leaves over 20% for you to pay. In addition, there is limited drug coverage. That's why most people with Original Medicare carry additional Medicare coverage from a private insurance company - at an added premium cost (call Medicare Supplement Policies or Medigap Policies). Many people instead choose to receive covered under a Medicare Advantage (MA) Plan. With a MA Plan, you receive more coverage than Original Medicare and don't need a Medicare Supplement policy.

The Freedom Medicare Plan Rx+ offers an extended prescription drug plan and covers both generic and preferred brand drugs all the way through the gap.

Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans
- Freedom Medicare Plan Rx
This is a basic medical and prescription drug plan with generic drugs covered through the gap.
- Freedom Savings Plan Rx
This is our Part B refund plan. This plan will cover both medical and prescription drugs for active adults.
- Freedom Medicare Plan Rx+
This medical and extended prescription drug plan covers both generic and preferred brand drugs all the way through the gap.
Special Needs Plans (SNPs)
Freedom Health also offers 3 different Special Needs Plans (SNPs) for people who need specialized care and/or focused care management:
- Medi-Medi Plan
This SNP provides services and benefits especially tailored for dual eligible Medicare & Medicaid recipients.
- VIPcare Plan
This SNP provides services and benefits especially tailored for heart patients.
- VIPcare+ Plan
This SNP provides services and benefits especially tailored for those with diabetic needs.
Other Plans
Don't need prescription drugs included in your medical plan? Freedom offers 2 Medicare Advantage Plans without prescription drug coverage:
- Freedom Medicare Plan
This plan offers more coverage than traditional Medicare including extra benefits such as Dental and a monthly Over-the-Counter allowance.
- Freedom Savings Plan
This plan offers a Part B refund along with other benefits.
